Hello y’all!
Another late-ish newsletter coming at yah. I took a hike in the early AM and I could see the entire city from where I stood — probably 30 to 40 miles of distance.
It’s amazing how small and insignificant we are in comparison to the very things that we build; skyscrapers, sprawls of city and commercial interests litter the world and yet there’s so much space to still work with.
I get the exact same feeling when it comes to AI: We’re going to be building things that extend way beyond anyone one person and we’ll again be reminded how small we really are. I think that’s a good thing.

Military defense startup Anduril has had early discussions to raise what would be one of the largest venture capital rounds of the year so far, seeking about $1.5 billion of fresh funds that would value the company at $12.5 billion or more, two people who have spoken to the company said.
The potential funding round would be an increase from the $8.5 billion valuation at which investors including Valor Equity Partners and Founders Fund valued the company a year and a half ago.
It’s a paywall but that’s all you have to know. Military and AI are big and I can imagine they will be spending some of that cash in those areas.
