Links and tools and news in the artificial intelligence world.
Morning y’all!
I hope you had a good day off if you were in the US but otherwise I suppose you were working, as one friend in London reminded me:
Well, at least they had a “Bank Holiday” the previous week!
A fun video to start off the newsletter. I appreciate the editing because it does take a lot of work to produce this level of quality, regardless of content focus.
An interesting look from the first handful of founding members at OpenAI and their thoughts on the future.
Elon is releasing the Colossus, thanks to NVIDIA.
Important research surrounding Azheimer’s Disease:
This study introduces an advanced multimodal classification model that integrates clinical, cognitive, neuroimaging, and EEG data to enhance diagnostic accuracy. The model incorporates a feature tagger with a tabular data coding architecture and utilizes the TimesBlock module to capture intricate temporal patterns in Electroencephalograms (EEG) data. By employing Cross-modal Attention Aggregation module, the model effectively fuses Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) spatial information with EEG temporal data, significantly improving the distinction between AD, Mild Cognitive Impairment, and Normal Cognition.
I think the medical applications of AI are amazing and some of the more obviously beneficial outcomes of using this tech.
Ugic is a multi-language Figma tool based on user component libraries.
Folks are wanting to build an equivalent of a senior analyst for hedge funds.
Folks are freaking out about Freepik’s new generator which is creating results better than Midjourney.

The name confused me but this is what it does:
Discover companies and people in real-time with enriched data from LinkedIn. Access unlimited searches, live headcount updates by country and function, and specific industry insights. Data is refreshed every 14 days for accurate information.
Save time going through Reddit comments to find the best products.
And the New Yorker thinks AI isn’t going to make art. And I find that laughable, at first blush. But whatever Ted.
That’s it folks! Have a good one!
