Vector Graphs, SEO and AI, Jamie imon, and Lullaby's To Your Kids Without You
News and tools on your AI journey.
Morning y’all!
I slept in, a bit, and I could tell my body needed it. Reminded me of how it’s really important to listen to your body and to give it the breaks it needs to reset or recalibrate. I think getting older has made this an even more important thing for me to consider. I’m doing my best.
I hope the week was good friends! Listen to those bodies.

A fun Twitter-based overview of vector graphs, something I’m personally studying more and more.
Business intelligence via AI. That’s it. I will share that I’m building software in this space — kind of. So, looking at these types of applications is personally interesting.
I LOL’d a bit here:
Read bedtime stories to your kids, even when you’re not there.
It’s an AI voice that you clone of yourself and then the app does the rest.
I’ll admit that I just liked the name “Musho” and the website was cute. But what it does is pretty cool too: Create a UI with just a prompt.
Spotify launches an “AI Playlist” capability via prompt. It won’t make me move from Apple Music to Spotify, but, I’ll be happy when it comes to my platform of choice. I think the more interesting point is that every app is eventually going to have AI “built in” and that it’ll become so common folks won’t think about it.
Some honest thoughts on how AI will not replace search and SEO:
While AI has undoubtedly transformed various aspects of digital marketing, the need for search engines and the SEOs that shape them remains as crucial as ever. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, the importance of SEO will only grow, and businesses that recognize and adapt to this reality will be well-positioned to succeed in the years to come. Think of AI in the future as the advanced complement and improvement to the search engine, not as the replacement.
His focus is on use cases but I think he’s forgotten that people change and thus their use cases will also change.
Alexis has thoughts on AI and Blockchain — and it’s all about .jpgs:
So, imagine a world where you cannot trust a single JPG you see. You can't know if it's real or not, if it was taken by someone who says they took it, or if it depicts something real (we're already kind of seeing this, too.)
I can laugh at his example but the utility should always be considered seriously, at least in principle.
Don Beyer, a congressman, went back to school to learn about all this AI stuff. I wish more folks like him took the time to understand what’s going on as most of our representatives are woefully ignorant.
Actually impressed with this slackbot that uses AI. I’m not sure I’ll use it but it’s not a terrible implementation.
Learn a new language via AI. Just a basic messaging app but a neat implementation.
Human-like voice interviews? Why not. The demo was notable and I failed out of an interview for a customer support role. Their automated results with notes is not too shabby. I can see this being used.
I think Jamie Dimon is a slug but people still listen to this guy. His annual note to shareholders talks a lot about AI:
Since the firm first started using AI over a decade ago, and its first mention in my 2017 letter to shareholders, we have grown our AI organization materially. It now includes more than 2,000 AI/machine learning (ML) experts and data scientists. We continue to attract some of the best and brightest in this space and have an exceptional firmwide AI/ML and Research department with deep expertise.
Continued investment and more money being spent on AI.
